Creating Magic at the 2023 Wedding Upmarket Styled Shoot

There’s a certain kind of magic created when like-minded passionate individuals come together on a shoot. And there was certainly something special in the air when our Wedding Upmarket team collaborated on a dreamy romantic styled shoot in January.

The venue was perfect – Moore & Moore café is a stunning venue in the heart of Fremantle. With a large white-walled space providing the perfect blank canvas, as well as a myriad of quirky nooks and an outdoor area like something out of a fairytale, it was the obvious choice to help our vision come to life.

And the gowns! Oh, the gowns! Joanne from JRW Bridal provided us with some truly breathtaking wedding gowns, as well as her expert styling tips on the day. The gowns were perfectly complemented by gorgeous accessories by Boutique By Brenda Lee, as well as jaw-dropping jewels from Stelios Jewellers. The team were like kids in a candy store surrounded by such couture pieces!

Our models were enthusiastic and professional, with an old-world glam. Alana and Sam are represented by Harvey James Management, who have an ongoing relationship with Wedding Upmarket. We love working with HJM models!

Holly from HC Artistry and Brooke from Hair By Brooke McIlwaine worked their magic on our models, transforming Alana into a regal princess and Sam into her handsome groom. The bold lip and classic hairstyle for Alana suited our theme perfectly.

Our favourite photographer, Jason from At Last Co, was on hand to capture all the fun behind the scenes footage. He switched effortlessly into professional mode to elicit the stunning images you see in this blog feature and across our socials. Mason Roberts captured stunning video footage, and it is always a joy to watch Mase and Jase work in tandem to “get the shot”.

Now, let’s talk florals. Have you ever seen a more stunning staircase than the one created by El from Maple and Wren? We think not! We provided El with the mood board and inspo, and boy did she deliver on the brief! Stunning dark moody florals cascaded effortlessly down the wooden staircase, which perfectly complemented Alana’s porcelain skin and the white wedding gown.

The arbour was truly a sight to behold. Watching El create this installation in real time was amazing! It complemented our bride and groom, and the overall vision, perfectly. The arbour and the lanterns underneath it were provided by Memories By Design.

The team were taken care of when it came to snacks on the day! Moore & Moore Café provided everyone with mouth-watering canapes, and the wedding cake by Lani’s Sweet Tooth was delicious. The caramel centre was perfection! Special shout out to Turquoise Creative for supplying the stationery – did you know that their wedding stationery is embedded with Swan River daisy seeds?! The perfect gift that keeps on giving!

Thank you to everyone who was involved in our 2023 Wedding Upmarket Styled Shoot. Our vendors’ details are listed here for you to check out more of their work. You can also chat to these talented people at Wedding Upmarket on Saturday 19th April at UWA from10am to 3pm.
